Steadfast in his resolve
Before September 11...

Terrorism wasn't a priority. The twerp had more important things to tend to, like playing a few holes at his Crawford fleapit.

In the aftermath of 9/11...

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him." (9/13/01)

"I want justice... There's an old poster out West, as I recall, that said, 'Wanted: Dead or Alive,'" (9/17/01)

Less than 6 months later ...

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority" and "I am truly not that concerned about him." (3/13/02)

Now, with the elections looming...

"He's our number one priority. Seriously. Re-elect me. We'll get him. He can run, but he can't hide. Wanted dead or alive. I promise."
