"They are doing all they can to take this campaign for the highest office in the land down the lowest possible road."

-  our future VP, Sen. John Edwards.

Wolf Blitzer, come on down!
And pick up your springy new kneepads, you dickless toady!

These newspeople and pundits should be ashamed of themselves. When most people these days are getting their news from TV - and especially in the case of the convention, when the networks are barely covering it at all - they have a duty and responsibility to give the people watching the facts. The whole story. And they're failing us.  No wonder so many now get their news from The Daily Show. The real news shows are blowing it.

This is what set me off last night. It's certainly not the first time they've done it, and by God, I'm damn sick and tired of it. They should know better.

Wolf:  But you know the criticism, general, that we keep hearing, he voted to go to war in Iraq and that after the War, he voted against the $87 billion to pay for the body armor, to pay for the support of the troops in Iraq.
Fuckwit. It took General Shalikashvili to do Wolf 'repuke sound bite' Blitzer's job and lay it out for the American people:
General John Shalikashvili: I know the accusation and the reason he voted for it was not that he was against body armor for troops, that's a red herring. He was trying to make the point that it is time for the Iraqis to pay for that, that loan that was given to them, instead of a gift that was given to them.
... Wolf, you ignorant c*nt.

I swear to God, I wish I could've been there to grab him by the neck and deliver a knee to his grizzled, useless nutsack.

Here's the transcript.
