Never mind that, McGreevey's ghey or something
After all their denials, it turns out the misadministration lied after all. Again. And the story was snuck in, in another under-the-radar Friday news release. Imagine that.

The United States had legal custody of American Nick Berg during a lengthy jail stay in Iraq that preceded his kidnapping and videotaped beheading, a Pennsylvania congressman said.

Nicholas Berg, 26, was detained in a Mosul jail from about March 25 through April 6 while the FBI conducted background checks, Rep. Jim Gerlach, R-Pa., said Friday.

Michael Berg, an anti-war activist, maintains that his son missed a scheduled flight home during his incarceration, causing him to remain in the country as violence escalated.
