Strong leader and chickenhawk war preznit may cut one debate.
GOP strategist Scott Reed was quoted this week as saying the Bush camp's position is that "two debates are sufficient."
Here's the schedule, as announced on June 17:
First presidential debate: Thursday, September, 30, 2004University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL
Vice presidential debate: Tuesday, October 5, 2004Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH
Second presidential debate: Friday, October 8, 2004Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis, MO
Third presidential debate: Wednesday, October 13, 2004Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ
Each debate will last for ninety minutes, start at 9:00 p.m. ET, and take place before a live audience.
