"With enough money for the special effects, in the world according to Rove, it should be theoretically possible to make a ham sandwich the President of the United States. And indeed, some would argue that that's what happened in 2000."

CNN refuses to air ad critical of Bush regime
The Conservative Neepad Nooze station CNN, unlike some other networks, will not air the Log Cabin Republicans' new television ad, on the grounds that it is "too controversial." {But it's perfectly OK to keep airing the sWift boat liar ads, even though a) they defame a war vet and b) they have been proven to be based on lies by partisan hacks. - Ed.}

"We are deeply disappointed that CNN has refused our voices the opportunity to be heard. Last week we told the Republican Party that you cannot sugarcoat the vicious and mean-spirited platform, today we want CNN to know that you cannot sugarcoat the politics of fear and intolerance that lead to hate," said Log Cabin Executive Director Patrick Guerriero.

Geez, all of a sudden this guy seems like a vision of probity.
