Harder, deeper, bring it home
Dems seek probe of anti-Kerry smear film by Bush pals.
The Democratic Party and a paltry 18 senators are seeking a pair of federal investigations into Sinclair Broadcast Group's plans to preempt network primetime programming later this month to air a documentary critical of John Kerry's antiwar activities.
The DNC plans to file a complaint with the FEC that alleges that John Kerry: Anti-Christ Commie Who Ate Babies and Puppies While Pissing on the 'Merican Flag or whatever that piece of shit is called is nothing more than an illegal contribution to the AWOL fuckwit's sleazy campaign.
Meanwhile, the Democratic senators have asked the FCC to investigate whether Sinclair's plan is an improper use of public airwaves.
The unfortunately-named Mark Hyman, Sinclair's vp of asshole relations to the rethuglican party, actually suggested that running the blatant piece of g-puke propaganda was fair, because - get this - reporting on job losses and car bombings are 'contributions to the Kerry campaign.'
Democratic FCC commissioner Michael Copps called Sinclair's decision "an abuse of the public trust," but since his boss is repug towelboy Colin Powell's son Michael, you can see just how far that'll go.
