Since news of Sinclair's decision to air Traitor, Baby-eater, Commie: the John Kerry Story first appeared on Saturday, October 9th, the company's stock has fallen nearly 11 percent at a cost of 70 million dollars.
"The recoil from Democrats at the FCC, and frankly moderate Republicans alike, suggests that Sinclair might be harming itself short term in revenues and long term in deregulation tactics," media analyst Leland Westerfield said.
