Paul Begala, pussy galore
The disturbing emasculation of Begala into the next Alan Colmes...
BEGALA: Cheri {RNC bimbette Cheri Jacobus}, we're almost out of time in this segment, but I want to put up a poll. "The Hotline," a terrific daily sort of bible of American politics, did -- asked members of the Democratic National Committee who their dream chairman would be. And here's where it came out. No. 1, you won't be surprised, Bill Clinton. No. 2, Terry McAuliffe, probably the best chairman of my lifetime, a great chairman. And in third place is God. (LAUGHTER) Now, you've got to admit, Terry must have done a pretty good job if he's ahead of God, isn't it -- isn't he?
WTF???????? Terry McAuliffe??? What the bloody hell is he talking about?? Terry McAuliffe is only a 'great chairman' if you're a fricken republican, for crissakes! Jebus! Gah...
And later, he repeats his jawdropper of the other night. That anyone can condone a $40-50 million #uck-you circle-jerk extravaganza during times like these is unspeakable. No wonder the world hates us:
BEGALA: I would say, Cheri, this is -- this is one of the rare occasions when I actually disagree with Ann {Lewis} and agree with President Bush. I think he should have whatever kind of party he wants. I do think it is a celebration of democracy for all Americans. And it unites us. It's for all Americans. That's why, though, I'm so troubled that he is sticking the District of Columbia with the bill for $12 million. No predecessor ever forced the tiny, impoverished residents of Washington, D.C., to pay for what should be America's celebration. Isn't the president wrong about that part of this?
JACOBUS: Well, there's a couple things here. First of all, I think that -- I think that this -- this should be the greatest celebration of democracy, particularly with the elections coming up in Iraq and establishing democracy in that region.
BEGALA: So we shouldn't stick D.C. with it. But all of us should all pay for it, right?

Wrong.
