Facing growing pressure to bring troops home from Iraq, the Smirking Monkey is launching a campaign to try to calm anxieties about the war. Bush has scheduled a major address for June 28, plans a series of radio addresses and appearances outside Washington, and will emphasize the importance of democracy in Iraq when he meets with fellow world leaders on the beautiful golf courses of Gleneagles, Scotland, in July.
Other than that, Bush plans to offer no policy changes on Iraq.
