Bolton UN nomination blocked in Senate
Though Bush could still sneak in the no-talent assclown during the July 4th or August breaks, Senate Republicans would rather he didn't.
Sen. Pat Roberts, a Kansas Republican who heads the Senate Intelligence Committee, said the country would be better served by a UN Ambassador who WASN'T a dickbag was confirmed by the Senate.
Sen. George Allen, R-Virginia, said it was a "legitimate concern" that Bolton would be seen as a friggin' asshat damaged goods and would lack credibility if he is appointed rather than confirmed.
