This week in shameless grandstanding news...
On his 4th of July photo-op in front of adoring, hand-picked, mouthbreathing supporters, Bush compared the Iraq fiasco to the US War of Independance, and again linked the invasion of Iraq to September 11th.
"The war we are fighting came to our shores on September the 11th, 2001. After that day, I made a pledge to the American people, we will not wait to be attacked again. We will bring our enemies to justice, or bring justice to our enemies. We're taking the fight to the terrorists abroad so we do not have to face them here at home," Preznit Stupid said to a cheering throng of Deliverance: The Musical chorus members.
