The majority of those questioning the nomination of Harriet Miers are grass roots supporters who admire and helped elect the President but are dismayed by the lack of qualifications, experience and depth of Ms. Miers.

"For the White House to now turn around and label these grass roots supporters as 'elites' or 'sexist' is both insulting and offensive. Instead of name calling, the Bush Administration should be reaching out the very people who helped elect the President."
