Exec's political bias cited in PBS probe
Republican effort to turn PBS into Fox News judged illegal

Former CPB chairman Kenny-boy Tomlinson found to have violated ethics by using "political tests" as a major criteria in hiring a former chairwoman of the Republican party to be Corporation for Public Broadcasting president.

Missing from the report is email traffic between Tomlinson and "close friend" Karl Rove, provided to Inspector General Kenneth Konz by investigators at the State Department. This evidence, which reveals the White House's hand in manipulations of public broadcasting programming, is still under lock and key at the heavily partisan CPB.
