His poll numbers in the crapper, Bush escalates bitter Iraq war debate
Preznit Accountabilitude rewrites history to turn tables on anti-war critics, cover his pimply white ass

Why does Flightsuitboy hate America?

Bush went on the attack after Democrats accused the president of manipulating and withholding pre-war intelligence and misleading Americans about the rationale for war.

Which rationale would that be again? I forget.

"They spoke the truth then and they're speaking politics now," Bush charged.

Speaking politics. That's funny. Back then, you had to "watch what you say," and anyone who disagreed with the WH was instantly labelled an anti-American traitor who was soft on terra and who wanted us to be blown to kingdom come.

"Some Democrats who voted to authorize the use of force are now rewriting the past," Bush said. "They're playing politics with this issue and they are sending mixed signals to our troops and the enemy. That is irresponsible."

Irresponsible, Mr SmokingMushroomCloud? Oh please.

Ooooohhh! The 'enemy' is getting mixed signals! Shit. I bet you anything the 'enemy' couldn't care less. They don't seen very confused to me. And the troops aren't stupid. They're probably going that AWOL fucker lied and we're getting killed out here, goddammit.

Mized signals fun fact: the reboobs, including Senator/douchebag Bill Frist, are considering troop withdrawal from Iraq.

On Capitol Hill, top Democrats stood their ground in claiming Bush misled Congress and the country. "The war in Iraq was and remains one of the great acts of misleading and deception in American history," John Kerry told a news conference in between naps.

While the media focuses on our manly straight-shootin' president and most Dems are still curled up in the fetal position, Rep. Henry Waxman has posted a collection of '237 specific misleading statements' made by Bush misadministration officials about the threat posed by Iraq.

American Progress and David Corn post how the AWOL liar is rewriting history.

And ThinkProgress reminds us that the world did not see the Iraqi threat as Bush did.

Even the CIA didn't.

Who's rewriting history?
