"[I]n accusing Iraq war critics of 'rewriting history,' Bush, Cheney and other senior administration officials are tinkering with the truth themselves." - the Mercury News.

"You #ucked up! You trusted us!" - the WH.

"A cornered rat is one of the most dangerous things in nature." - the Discovery Channel.

Irresponsible comments
Dick 'I never met John Edwards...' Cheney, who's already racked up over 50 lies about Iraq, is now attacking Dems for calling him on his lies.

Cheney said Wednesday that the accusation the misadministration lied us into war is "one of the most dishonest and reprehensible charges ever aired in this city."

Huh.

Presidential counselor Dan Bartlett bared his weaselly yellow incisors and continued: "There's a bright line there that the Democrats have crossed. They have no facts on their side."

Oh really?

Remember this? How about this one? Or this? Besides the infamous Winnebagos of Mass Destruction, and the Iraqi insurgency in its "last throes," this is my favorite - Cheney denying linking 9/11 terrorist Mohammad Atta to the Iraqis, when he most certainly did:

June 17, 2004, Cheney with CNBC's Gloria Borger:

Borger: 'Well, let's go to Mohammed Atta for a minute, because you mentioned him as well. You have said in the past that it was, quote, 'pretty well confirmed.' '

Cheney: 'No, I never said that.'

Borger: 'Okay.'

Cheney: 'Never said that.'

Borger: 'I think that is . . . '

Cheney: 'Absolutely not.
That's funny - Dec. 9, 2001, Chicanery to NBC's Tim Russert:
Cheney: 'Well, what we now have that's developed since you and I last talked, Tim, of course, was that report that -- it's been pretty well confirmed that he did go to Prague and he did meet with a senior official of the Iraqi intelligence service in Czechoslovakia last April, several months before the attack...'
Busted, you fuckwit. Now go cheney yourself.
