Bush's illegal wiretapping illegal, says committee
The House Intelligence Committee told the Boy King that the White House broke the law by withholding information from the full congressional oversight committees about their domestic spying program.
In a letter to Bush, Rep. Jane Harman said the National Security Act requires the intelligence agencies to keep the entire House and Senate intelligence committees "fully and currently informed of the intelligence activities of the United States."
"We believe that Congress was briefed appropriately," a White House spokesliar said in response. Of course they do. They also believe the Constitution is just a "goddamn piece of paper."
