Rethug pet lobbyist Jack Abramoff, a close friend of indicted, corrupt scumbag Tom DeLay, will plead guilty to corruption and other charges, CNN reports.

Abramoff, who is also a longtime associate of ballless, rodentlike asshat Grover Norquist, crooked rep Bob Ney of Ohio and former Christian Coalition head Ralph Reed, would join former DeLay aide and Abramoff business partner Michael Scanlon in cooperating with federal prosecutors. Prosecutors could then decide whether to charge members of Congress and their aides with accepting gifts in return for illegally helping the lobbyists' clients. Or, since they're republicans, simply blaming the Clintons and letting the lawmakers walk away.

Fun fact: Abramoff's money went only to republicans.
