The Bush Misadministration did not investigate whether the UAE company had ties to terror. Guess what. They did.

Congressman Peter King, who chairs the House Homeland Security Committee, asked members of both the Treasury Department and Homeland Security if they had investigated whether or not DP World had ties to al Qaeda. He was told "Congressman, you don't understand, we don't conduct a thorough investigation."

FUBAR fact: New evidence has emerged that key agencies of the United Arab Emirates may have been infiltrated by al Qaeda. In May or June of 2002, al Qaeda officials wrote a letter to the UAE government claiming the emirates were “well aware” of the infiltration.
