Update
I posted last week that we were awaiting the results of Jaffa's biopsy. Well, I talked with the vet last night, and both the kidney biopsy and the urinalysis came back mostly OK, though there are signs that he may develop renal problems later. We're going to put him on a kidney-friendly diet and do another set of tests in a month or so and see how things go. Again, thanks to everybody who wrote in!
