  • Dillingham, Alaska, pop. 2,400, received a $200k Homeland Security grant to install 80 surveillance cameras to ostensibly spy on terrist polar bears.

  • Troops in Iraq are not getting body armor, but they are getting a 60-in., $15,000 plasma TV. "The dust ruined it -- just like it did the nine others they got to replace the first one."
