DeLay looks to "worthy" successor
Corrupt scumbag Tom DeLay says any of three colleagues could some day assume his role as lobbyist-friendly brownshirted criminal and leader of House conservatives. Evidently there are some assholes in his party that still care what the craven sleazeball thinks.
Asked who might be the House's "next indicted republican Tom DeLay," the corrupt prick who was majority leader before innumerable ethics scandals and an indictment finally drove him from the office, named three republicans: Rep. Adam Putnam of Florida, Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana and Rep. Patrick McHenry of North Carolina.
When told of Mr. DeLay's remarks, Mr. Pence said simply, "I accept the compliment." Mr. McHenry actually wet his pants: "I'm blown away ... I'm so excited that Tom DeLay would say that about me."
