Lying dick Dick 'dick' Cheney left his bunker on Planet Rectoid to appear at the National Press Club yesterday, where he reiterated last year's statement that the Iraqi insurgency is in its 'final throes'.

Bully for him. I'd say it must be nice thinking that everyone around you is a total moron, but I doubt if that's the case. It's more like if he thinks about anybody at all, it's at the same level as a gnat, or those bits of celery that get stuck in your teeth. You know, just some stupid fucking annoyance you have to endure before you can swipe it away.

Meanwhile, with the insurgency in its last throes, the bodies of the two missing US soldiers have been found after their abduction by an al-Qaida group on Friday. They were probably tortured.

Also, a suicide bomber killed a woman and wounded five people when he attacked a crowd of elderly and disabled pensioners in Basra today.
