Well, we're back, after a weekend of DSL and blogger problems.

Cool stuff

  • Eight previously unknown invertebrate species discovered in "a new and unique underground ecosystem," or "cave," in Israel.

  • Archaeologists have dug up a woman's skeleton dating to the 10th century B.C. in an ancient necropolis under the Forum in Rome.

  • Bush speaks on the illegal immigrant problem.

  • New album from the Dixie Chicks debuts at #1 on the Billboard charts, proving just how out of the mainstream they are. They also have become the first female group in chart history to have three albums debut at #1, and are one of the most popular live acts in history.
The record-breaking chart-topping success of Taking The Long Way is the latest in a long line of achievements for the Dixie Chicks. With 39 RIAA gold, platinum and multi-platinum certifications to their credit, the Dixie Chicks are the only female group to hold two RIAA Diamond Awards (each for sales of more than 10 million units).
    Eat it, fretards.
