The most frightening thing about the foiled plot to use liquid explosives to blow up airplanes over the Atlantic is that both the government and the aviation industry have been aware of the liquid bomb threat for years but have done little to prepare for it.I know we posted this yesterday, but it bears repeating - especially when the GOP insists on playing the tougher on terrism card every chance they get.
And John at AmericaBlog reminds us that we did get hit after 9/11 - "So next time Bush/Cheney claim we haven't been hit again, ask them what happened to the anthrax killer. Then ask them where Osama is."
