Media should be ashamed of 9/11 hackudrama
A letter to the editor:
From newspapers across this country to members of the 911 Commission,
people are raising a red flag over the inaccuracies of the upcoming
"docudrama" this weekend on ABC. With its "composite" scenes it seems to
paint a picture that it was Clinton's fault.
Others have gone over the errors of this piece of propaganda.
Scenes that you probably won't see this Sunday:
After a security briefing in June of 2001 John Ashcroft stops flying
commercial.
Aug. 6, 2001, After a CIA official travels to Crawford with a CIA briefing "Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in US", Bush kicked the briefer out of the room by dismissing him with these words, "All right, you've covered your ---."
Or any of the 50 or so specific warnings About Bin laden Bush received that year.
Or that after taking the longest vacation in presidential history instead of returning to Washington as scheduled, Bush visited his brother who had declared a state of emergency Sept. 7 2001.
We won't see photographer taking pictures of the President on Air Force 1 during 911 that would be sold to his contributors.
Informed citizens know that our broadcast media is lying to us.
