It was a remarkable turnaround for a president who just two years ago emerged triumphant from his re-election campaign, declaring that he had earned political capital and intended to spend it.- the NY Times. Not so remarkable when you consider he squandered everything that was handed to him. But pretty damn remarkable that the voters finally woke the fuck up out of their sheeplike stupor.
