Y'all, I can't stress enough who this guy is--he's one of those people with a direct line to Pretzelnit McMoron. After James "I wish his mother had practiced abstinence" Dobson, he's probably the most influential evangelical in the country.

You know, I also hate sounding as though I disapprove of gays, or of anything that happens in private between consenting adults--so for the record, I sure don't. But I can't help but enjoy it when these hypocrites are shown for what they are. And it's never that they have a girlfriend or a boyfriend on the side or anything that seems kind of normalish, albeit skeevy. There always seems to be risk-seeking behavior or violence, coupled with alcohol or drugs to numb out the consciousness of what it is they really want to do/are doing. Out me!/No, don't out me! Ooh, the shame./Um, whatever you just did--would you do it again?

Let me leave you with a quote from Haggard's own website, where he talks about Bill Clinton:

"Bill Clinton's White House was the most responsive in recent history," he said. "He really wanted to please evangelical Christians. He's a Bible-believing Christian himself; his problem was, he was a sex addict."
