Prosetorneyfire-gate
Ex-prosecutor was asked partisan questions by WH officials prior to his shitcanning. Strangely, "who does number two work for?" was not one of them.

John McKay of Washington state, one of the eight US attorneys fired by the Bush misadministration, said yesterday that White House officials questioned his performance in highly partisan political terms at a meeting in Washington in September, three months before his dismissal.

His statement yesterday lent new credence to suspicions that partisan political concerns weighed heavily in his firing.
Meanwhile, former prosecutor David Iglesias, asked on "Meet the WH's Poolboy" if he believes he was removed for political reasons, said, "Absolutely, yes."
Iglesias, a Republican, also said that "right now, I've got serious doubts" about the integrity and leadership of Alberto Gonzales.
Bonus: Iglesias also pwn3d White House stooge Dan Bartlett, saying he was "out of touch" and "looking at talking points" because "he doesn't know the facts underlying what we do as U.S. attorneys. Fucking douchebag."

The firings were in 9 of the 11 swing states indentified by the Republicans as swing states in the 2008 elections.

Election fraud cover up, or as others allege, to dig up on dirt against Democrats in the elections next year?

I go with both.
