Well, well, well...
The plot, like Rush Limbaugh's scrote-cheese, thickens --
Monica Goodling, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' liaison with the White House, will refuse to answer questions at upcoming Senate hearings about the firings of eight U.S. attorneys, citing her Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination.The House was to vote late Monday on stripping Gonzales of his authority to appoint U.S. attorneys without Senate confirmation, his club tie, and his key to the executive crapper.
The potential for legal jeopardy for Ms. Goodling from even her most truthful and accurate testimony under these circumstances is very real," her lawyer said.
The revelation complicated the outlook for Gonzales, who is traveling out of town this week even as he fights to keep his job and his agency's investigatory power.
Deer in my back yard think this is da bomb.

Over at Raw Story, they have posted an article of how the Texas Rangers (not the baseball team, the real ones) conducted investigations into alleged sexual abuse by Texas prison guards (or whatever they call the ones that guard youthful offenders).
The Rangers completed their investigations, and found that the offences alleged indeed took place, they roused boys and girls out of bed to have sexual liasons with them.
Submitted to Gonzales, and he did nothing, chose not to prosecute.
I know, this will get me accused again here of being anti-homosexual, which I am not, but I truly believe the REAL scandal that will sink the Republicans for good, is to investigate the Foley affair more thoroughly now we are Majority.
I am thinking, there is a not-so-hidden cadre of homosexuals in the Republican Party.
And sorry, but that means votes for Democrats to expose them.
If you can't stand the election heat......
Frankly, I think Bush and Gonzales smoke meat pipes.
Ehhh Maru... Rush Limbaugh's "scrote-cheese"?? That's TOO graphic of a poetic image! You'll make me a vegan yet.
