Quote of the day
Charlie Rangel responds to Dick "always wrong" Cheney's comments yesterday:

"Well, less than 30% of the people have confidence in what the President has to say and less than that have confidence in what the Vice President has to say and it's abundantly clear from his five deferments that he's not too familiar with military fighting.... Get a life, Mr Vice President -- the American people want out."

Hey! You're not allowed to talk to the Vice President like that.

He'll smack you in the mouth like he does to George Jr. occassionaly.

Or he'll invite you on a drinking/hunting trip with him!

But it's good to see some of the Dems FINALLY calling the bluff of these Neo-cons (especially like Cheney) who TALK so fucking tough when it's OTHER peoples' country, blood & money involved, but are/were conspicuously absent when some of the heavy lifting is/was there to be done! And I know that there's 'specialization' of things where people are trained/good-at a narrow range of responsibility (ie; a general in the Army may not be proficient in the use of a bazooka, but that doesn't make him a bad general), but these Neo-cons typically can't even claim that type of military expertise! Virtually all of the hard-core/loud-mouth Neo-cons are chickenhawks who have NO military experience nor training -- so they're not even West Point type of militarists, they're just bullshitting poseurs who want to con OTHER people into doing the shitty things in life while they float along lending verbal 'moral support' and reaping most of the material benefits.
