Commander Guy still seeking War Czar

That reads like a kinky-ish Craigslist personal ad, huh? Anyway, after several weeks of looking, Pretzelnit Bunnypants still hasn't found someone to blame miserable failures on coordinate the war efforts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a retired general who had been offered the job said, "I think I'll apply at Chuck E. Cheese instead. Though I hear it's kinda smelly in that mouse suit."

Well, since we have "Commander Guy", NSA and the NSC, SecDef, SecNav, SecAir, SecArmy, JCS, Centcom plus Cheney as Guido the Killer Pimp you'd think that somebody was minding the fucking store.

I recommended Albert Speer but found out he was dead.

I agree with dontfear that the "commander in chief" would probably be the war czar. But there is a war criminal available. Why doesn't he ask Henry Kissinger? He's got some great experience left over from Cambodia. Surely the skills will transfer.

Reminds me of the company I presently work for, when I first started 20+ yrs ago. They were CONSTANTLY reorganizing and I wondered WTF is this all about. Eventually though, some fellow cynic told me that it's just a standard management dodge because as a manager you've ALWAYS got a plausible excuse -- "I know my dept is not doing well, but we're reorganizing next week/month, and then things should improve". Then when the changes happen, the excuse was "Well, people are still learning their new positions -- there's a learning curve, you know?! It'll improve in a month or two." Then they'd start the cycle all over again!

I think that's all that this 'War Czar' crap is obviously about -- just to divert attention from Bush/Cheney but not to really change anything.

Here's a good one, probly make a nice piece for the Onion.

"Bush blames homeless drifter for Iraq Mess"

Just use yer imagination.

I'm sure Rove would jump on the idea.
