What STILL pisses me off is that "W" & Cheney were pretty much both 'known quantities' even back in 2000; "W" as a lack-luster governor and crony-business-deals scion, with previous SIGNIFICANT (when compared to Clinton) drug, alcohol, & legal problems, and Cheney as an old Reaganite dinosaur who was a cranky & unfriendly neo-con throwback, who was unable to win the GOP presidential nomination, despite previous efforts (you KNOW your personality is nasty when you're on the ticket with "W" and HE's there to increase the charisma!). However, the good 'ol MSM -- pandering to the US financially prominent party (the Repukes) -- opted not to bring up a lot of this stuff and instead just accept as the agenda the stupid crap that the Neo-cons invented and had their right-wing squawk-radio/TV jocks portray as real issues! Even after that preferential treatment, it STILL took the US Supreme Court to award the 2000 election to Bush.

So, even after 9/11 & the militarily unrelated Iraq War II, the MSM & the US sheeple elect these shitheads (with 'questionable' election results Ohio) AGAIN!?!

In life, on a personal basis, most of us only get a few (at BEST) major mistakes before we're permanently tracking towards something undesirable (ie; low-end work, permanent disability, prison, etc). Though I realize that national politics is significantly more complex, I still can't help but wonder - - how many times can this country effectively fuck-up before it has LONG term negative consequences? How many times can you elect people like Nixon, Reagan, and "W" for instance, and STILL expect to have a good, positive society (he rhetorically asked)?
