Dick Cheney is now his own branch of government --
Emperor Palpatine has asserted his office is not a part of the executive branch of the US government, and the House Oversight Committee is demanding that he explain himself.Meh. Rules and laws -- they're for the little people.
For four years, the man voted in as Vice President of the United States has resisted an executive order by his own "boss" in dealing with classified information, and when the National Archives unit that monitors it objected, he tried shutting it down.

Yeah Maru, similar to what you so correctly mentioned in the Guilani post above -- 'Now just think of the SCLM outrage if instead of Cheney it had been a Democrat (like Gore, for instance)!' Christ, the right-wing would've closed down the US government and would have orchestrated a military coup here in the US if Gore had done anything close to that! The hypocrisy by the SCLM and the Reich-wing is off the scale.
