"Cost of living"?
Ahem.

Because they're all doin' such a heckuva job, House Dems and Republicants will vote themselves a $4,400 pay raise that would increase their salaries to almost $170,000.

Gee, my cost of living raise this year came to a big $750, but then the company instituted a health care copay, so I will end up with under $400 for the year or less than one tank of oil.

Y'know what would've kept the French Revolution from happening? Relatively inexpensive diversionary electronic entertainment.

Watch your backs, overlords--the second my DSL goes out it's ON. Well, once I finish Resident Evil 4, that is. But then it's definitely on.

The ruling-class rewards itself for taking care of itself.

If the middle-class wasn't so damn spoiled and apathetic, they could easily get the masses of the lower-class, the real numbers, to tear down the corporate walls and sack the royalty. If only...
