There's a new pud in town
Wyoming governor picks someone who isn't a godless lesbian author and mother of another godless lesbian as senator.

Republican John Barrasso, a believer in traditional family values, is divorced with two kids and -- judging from his photo -- a cageful of very stressed gerbils.

Noooooooooooo!

RE:
the so-called 'beliefs'* that the Reboobs like Barrasso trot out for public consumption --
Why don't they just come out and say "I'm near the top of the exploitative system -- largely due to nepotism -- and I'll vote to keep things comfortable for me and my small numbers"? Especially in this day and age of the SCLM, it'll be retranslated to some version of 'I support truth, justice & the American Way' by the time it hits the public anyway, so what's the diff?

*ie: "limited government, lower taxes, less spending, traditional family values, local control and a strong national defense" that have little or no relevance to what they REALLY practice (eg; 'limited government' -- unless you include MORE government intrusion in your daily & public life by 'Homeland Security', FBI, etc; 'lower taxes' as long as you're a high-income person, otherwise it's higher 'fees', regressive sales taxes, etc; 'less spending' if that means RECORD HIGH spending and deficits; 'traditional family values' as long as you're talking about the Borghese type families; 'local control' when it's things that THEY ALREADY control [often dictatorily and poorly]; 'strong national defense' when it's OFFENSE and supports economic exploitation throughout the world -- like the 'defense' Reagan practiced in Central/South America, or 725 US military bases throughout the world, to name just a couple of examples.
