Last Throes
A day after ballgarglers Lindsey Graham and John McStain returned from a shopping trip in Iraq and breathlessly declaring the surge was succeeding beyond their expectations in getting the Sunnis to help us defeat Al Qaeda, both were made out to be lying old fools yet again when a single bombing killed at least 150 in an astonishingly normal Indiana Market .

A suicide bomber drove a load of watermelons and vegetables to the center of a village marketplace in northern Iraq on Saturday and then detonated his big, yellow truck, killing as many as 150 people in what appeared to be the deadliest attack yet in a year of unremitting violence.

In further proof of the accuracy of Graham and McStain's wet dream fantasy, eight American soldiers were killed over the last two days by desperate al Qeada fanatics in their last throes and on the run.

But there will be a bloodbath if we leave.
