Obstruction of justice
"We'll see you in court," White House tells Dems.

Now he's done it. The Boy King has invoked executive privilege to keep Sara Taylor and Harriet Miers from testifying whether he broke the law in the US attorney scandal.

Democrats made it clear they intend to go to court to challenge Bush's claim.

"Contrary to what the White House may believe, it is the Congress and the courts that will decide whether an invocation of executive privilege is valid, not the White House unilaterally," House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers declared in response to [WH shyster Fred] Fielding's letter.

“I have to wonder if the White House’s refusal to provide a detailed basis for this executive privilege claim has more to do with its inability to craft an effective one," Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy added.
Blah. Blah blah blah. Another showdown. Another fake milestone instead of actually doing something concrete about the miserable little fucker. Blah de blah de blah.

Yeah, when DEM didn't "control" CONgress, Conyers had 30 DEM co-sponsors for Bush impeachment. NOW "in control", they can only muster 14 to impeach just the veep. How progressive can they get? (Maybe a constitutional reach-around to give these two Bushists a THIRD TERM)?!
