Prominent Shiite and Sunni Muslim politicians called on Iraqi civilians to take up arms to defend themselves after a weekend of violence that claimed more than 220 lives.

That's right, both Sunnis and Shiites are being encouraged to arm themselves, even more than they have already.
Meanwhile, the Iraq Foreign Minister says a US pullout could lead to civil war, as if what's going on now is just a multi denominational unity picnic.
