Bad judgment

Asking Bush lickspittle Alberto Gonzales to be the arbiter of the quality of legal representation for death row inmates is a little like asking the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys to pick the starting lineup for the Washington Redskins, just before the two teams are set to play. Yet that's the situation created by a little-noticed change in death penalty law, with obviously higher stakes and with a Bush-ballgargling attorney general who has defended torture and has been less than trustworthy.
There, fixed it.

Fucked fact: 151 people were executed in Texas during the Dictator-tot's tenure as governor.

The attorney general, leaving a Washington Redskins preseason game.
