Bush WH now wants Petraeus and Crocker to testify privately, in closed session
Ho ho ho! This can't be good!
Senior congressional aides said yesterday that the White House has proposed limiting the much-anticipated appearance of Gen. David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker to a private congressional briefing, suggesting instead that the Bush administration's progress report on the Iraq war should be delivered to Congress by the secretaries of state and defense. You know, the report that will not be written by Army generals but by the White House.
