I was driving to work all too early on this Monday morning when I heard the news on NPR. I'd be happier if he'd been fired, and Stupid McStupid is still whining that it's UNFAIRRRRRRR, but, ding-dong! he's gone.
The hearings to confim his successor should be très amusant, and I hope that Henry Waxman won't let him off the hook, either. (Hey, a girl can dream, and anyhow, someone has to be the idealist around here! ;)

There will be no hearings to confirm his replacement. Congress is out of session. Can you say "recess appointment"? Sure, Congress will be furious, but as long as there aren't 66 votes for impeachment in the Senate, why would Dear Leader care? He done been electorated!
