Senate Minority Leader in trouble
Channelling Joe Lieberman is no way to win Kentucky votes, son

Even the right-wing Washington Times can't hide the fact that pudfaced Bush lackey Mitch McConnell is in serious electoral trouble, says Kos:

[Chronic mattress-soiler] Mitch McConnell's close backing of Retard McJeebus on immigration and the Iraq war is costing him support among Kentucky Republicans, and, according to some party members, hurting his chances for re-election next year.

He even could face a primary challenge from former Republican gubernatorial candidate Larry Forgy, who contends that Mr. McConnell's problems are compounded by job losses and his shameless, almost continual preznental knobgobbling.

“The average Kentuckian feels we are giving away this country with both hands, meanwhile, Mitch McConnell has got both his hands around Bush's dick,” Mr. Forgy should have said. “And while the war in Iraq is less troublesome here than in other places, it is not popular, and Republican voters see Mitch's views as too close to the president's ass on this one.”

Love your astute political paraphrased 'quotes' Maru! A hilarious combination of a political analyst/editorialist and a ribald sailor.
