Turdblossom's legacy: destroyer of America, lousy rapper
OK, just one more post about that steaming, evil pile of crap and that'll be it, until he's subpoened again.
The lovely and talented Sidney Blumenthal:
"We now take leave of the 'Architect,' 'Turdblossom,' and the 'Mayberry Machiavelli,' his grand experiment in political realignment collapsed, and remember him as he wants to be remembered, rapping onstage as MC Rove at the 2007 Radio and Television Correspondents Association dinner as members of the Washington press corps bopped and shimmied as his backup dancers."Creepy conservatard Michelle Malkin:
Pudfaced editor Paul Gigot's WSF article had "[n]ot a word about the Harriet Miers debacle, the botching of the Dubai ports battle, or the undeniable stumbles in post-Iraq invasion policies. And not a word about the spectacular disaster of the illegal alien shamnesty, which will be the everlasting stain Rove leaves behind. Imagine how much better off the White House and the Republican Party might be now if he had, in fact, left a year ago."Usually conflicted gay conservatard Andrew Sullivan:
That utterly detestible slimebucket Karl Rove was "one of the worst political strategists in recent times. He took a chance to realign the country and to unite it in a war - and threw it away in a binge of hate-filled niche campaigning, polarization and short-term expediency. His divisive politics and elevation of corrupt mediocrities to every branch of government has turned an entire generation off the conservative label."Senator Barack HUSSEIN OJ MUSSOLINI Obama:
"Karl Rove was an architect of a political strategy that has left the country more divided, the special interests more powerful, and the American people more shut out from their government than any time in memory."

What the fuck is Malformed Malkin saying? Sounds like her corporate dictators want her to make Rove into a scapegoat for the Bushies.
Why would that be? Let's see, the idea must be... to blame Rove for most of the domestic problems, so that... her audience will think that once he is gone... then the Bushies will suddenly do the right thing for a change... and save us all?
Is there no end to the spinning-whell of lies and bullshit coming from the corporate sponsers of this grand political fiasco?

I think we, rightfully furious progressives (and dems, liberals, and others), might want to think a minute before dogging on traditional conservatives who might sound "conflicted", confused or disillusioned right now. It's apparent that the party they traditionally followed has totally failed them, blowing their minds, letting them down, and many see their ideologies being just raped or going up in flames as a result. Andrew Sullivan is NOT a loyal Bushie, in fact, quite the opposite. His thoughts on the matter, and consequently his words, spoken and written, are amazing in their power, eloquence and relevance. The anger and sadness that he and others of his ilk are experiencing and expressing right now are practically omnipresent. I think we need to a) be grateful that these conservatives are being open and honest about their horror at the Bu$h administration, and b) encourage their expressions and remain compassionate with what they are going through in their current and necessary rejection of what their party has done/is doing.
Let us give Sullivan and others like him a break here. It cannot be easy to be a "previous supporter".
WE KNEW!
But let us cut some slack to those who are admitting and being open about being misled, naive, wrong or whatever adjective fits here. Maybe simply "too trusting".
This country is so divided that sometimes I think it'll break out into an all out civil war, and NOT just of words. Can we not embrace those who are stepping close to and/or attempting to reconcile with a middle line, and maybe, even considering coming on over, across that line? This administration had, after 9/11, SO MUCH POWER, and is being discovered to have been so corrupt and incompetent and wrong! There needs to be an area of "forgiveness" or letting go the past with some of these people that is just necessary for ANY of us to survive.
Lighten up on those folks. Let us TRY to find and/or establish a place for "medium ground" to happen? What if it were OUR president who lied to us (meaning his base and faithful followers and believers) and destroyed the country and the Constitution and left us in the dirt as he has those who believed in him? So many supported him that for us to really rise above and change things, it's necessarily "turn the other cheek" time. NOT TO ALL, but definitely to SOME!
And Sullivan is one of those!
k?
Just a thought.
