In a surprising rebuttal of the Commander Guy's revelation that "he didn't recall"(sound familiar?) the decision to disband the Iraqi Army, medal of freedom winner and original grand poobah of the new and improved American colony known as Iraqnam, Jerry Bremer Calls Bullshit
A previously undisclosed exchange of letters shows that President Bush was told in advance by his top Iraq envoy in May 2003 of a plan to “dissolve Saddam’s military and intelligence structures,” a plan that the envoy, L. Paul Bremer, said referred to dismantling the Iraqi Army.Mr. Bremer provided the letters to The New York Times on Monday after reading that Mr. Bush was quoted in a new book as saying that American policy had been “to keep the army intact” but that it “didn’t happen.”The Decider/Commander guy gets caught up in his own bullshit and the deafening roar from the 'liberal media" sounds like crickets chirping.
via The Rude Pundit: "Bush is the kind of man who would finger fuck a man's wife and then giggle when he gives that man a shake with his unwashed hand."
Heh, indeed.

I believe that Bush really DOESN'T remember most of what happened 'when & where' - - kind of like the 'Reagan defense' (remember all that "I'm sorry senator, I just can't recall..." bullshit from Saint Ronny?) because - - like Reagan - - he was only peripherally interested and involved. That's what happens when you elect people who -- though they may actually have the IQ SOMEWHERE -- are NOT interested in carrying out governing activities as defined in this day and age. They want to behave as if it's the 17 or 1800's and government should just 'stand back' and let America grow (or at least that's the way their mythology is constructed). When you elect someone because "he's the kind of guy you'd like to have a beer with", you often end up with a vacuous bar-room bullshitter, a real-life Homer Simpson.
