My smartass cat likes to swing on the window blinds and let them bang loudly against the window frame to let him out ... like clockwork, at 2:00 a.m. ... every single f'ing morning ... but I still love the little bastard!
That is classic! I love the shredded sides of the box springs on the mattress in the cartoon as well...
ml - I had a cat that would swing from the curtains, but only when my mom was around, because she knew my mom would freak out. My dad & I could be in the living room with the cat and nothing...but as soon as my mom was coming around the corner from the kitchen, Bandit would take a running leap onto the curtains. Ah, good times, good times...
My cat does that exact same "paw in the face" thing when my alarm goes off. Fortunately, if I hit the snooze button, he'll snuggle back under the covers with me for another 9 minutes, until the clock goes off again. He gives me three hits on the snooze button, and then we HAVE to get up.

If I don't get up when Sherry wants me to, she'll sit on the bedside table and systematically knock things off one at a time. There goes the clock, my glasses, my watch, books, etc.
