Dems like Kucinich make it all look good for the party, but it's obvious that they don't have the real brass that it takes to do the right thing and give the rethugs their just desserts.

Despite letting the rethugs get away with mass-murder, mass-theft, and mass-corruption like no party ever before them, the dems will still get what they want, because all they really have to do is save the constitution now from the fires kindled by those rethugs.

Screw foreign policy as far as they're concerned. The right-wing nut-cases control US foreign policy. All the dems hafta do is save our domestic civil liberties and they'll get all the votes they need to save face.

That's how they do it.

Yeah, that's my heartache about the Dems. Kucinich is great, but there's no carry-through.

Kucinich is the only Dem that I can get excited about, but sadly I suspect that the US voters aren't ready for a real reform/progressive candidate like him. I'll probably take a full-blown Depression with the capital "D" before most of the mainstream voters look beyond the Repukes & Repuke-Lites(most of the Dems). Of course by then we'll probably be $10 or $11 trillion in national debt, our infrastructure will be 30 or 40% unusable, we'll be involved in 2 or 3 on-going wars, and we'll have a semi-dictatorship, so it may not be feasible then...
