No, the other one. The other other one. No, another one. No, th... bah:
Former SD Republican state Rep. Ted Klaudt was convicted on four counts of second-degree rape on charges involving two teenage foster daughters and a bizarre scheme of breast and vaginal exams to harvest reproductive eggs.Ahhhh, rethug family values. Please keep them far away from me.
Klaudt faces four additional second-degree rape charges and several lesser charges in Corson County on similar allegations said to have happened at the family's home in Walker. A trial on those charges is scheduled to start Tuesday.
The Hughes County trial involved charges that four of the phony examinations happened at a Pierre motel where Klaudt stayed during the legislative session. One of the young women testified that she was a legislative page. The accusers both were foster daughters placed in the Klaudt home by the state Corrections Department. Besides those two, the prosecution called three other young women who testified to various degrees of breast or vaginal exams and stimulation.
