Lawmakers, like the rest of the thinking planet, finally hold noted scumbag Karl Rove in contempt.

The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee voted on Thursday to hold two top aides to Preznit Lying Disastermonkey in contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate in a probe of the firing of federal prosecutors.

On a largely party-line vote, the Democratic-led panel sent contempt citations against White House Chief of Staff Josh Bolten and former butt-'brain' Karl Rove to the full Senate for consideration.

Setting the stage for a possible lengthy court fight, the committee rejected the executive privilege claim as unfounded.
