Darth Cheney loves him some "socialized medicine"...... but it's just not good for the little people. In fact, without it, ‘He’d Probably Be Dead Now’
The patient’s history and prognosis were grim: four heart attacks, quadruple bypass surgery, angioplasty, an implanted defibrillator and now an emergency procedure to treat an irregular heartbeat.In response, Cheney spokesperson Megan Mitchell told the Wall Street Journal that “something this outrageous does not warrant a response.” And also added: "America, Go Fuck Yourself."
For millions of Americans, this might be a death sentence. For the vice president, it was just another medical treatment. And it cost him very little.
Unlike the average American, the president, vice president and members of Congress all enjoy government-financed health care with few restrictions or prohibitive fees.

Yeah, UL, ALL of those Congressional assholes in DC who are 'against socialized medicine' are getting decent free health care from the federal government's National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. And Hendrick Hertzberg ('New Yorker', Oct'07) states that "We spend twice as much on health care as the [single-payer] French & German and 2.5 times as much as the [single-payer] British, yet we die sooner and our babies die in greater numbers." - and we have 47 million UNINSURED people, while they have virtually none! I seriously think we should hang him and the others like them. But I gotta hand it to the reporter; that was some darn good investigating. Who'd of thunk Cheney had a heart??
