AmericaBlog reports that Harry Reid will be keeping the Senate in session throughout the Christmas and New Year holidays "in order to block Bush from making recess appointments of controversial nominees that couldn't make their way through the appropriate Senate committees."

But Maru, what appointments might those be? After they rolled over on Mukasey I'm left wondering what sort of bizarre and dangerous minions would NOT be approved by the Senate.
